Members of Chimo Community Services are defined by our bylaws. Members are the individuals who become Members to support the society in any number of ways. They are the ones who will vote at each annual general meeting (AGM). Members have an interest in the governance of Chimo. Membership allows individuals access to vote on items related to the governance of the organization, including the opportunity to stand for election to the Board of Directors and vote on the election of other volunteers wishing to contribute to the governance of the organization.

Members may include individuals who access our services, active or inactive volunteers, or community members who feel strongly aligned with our values and our vision. Being a Member is not required to access our services and Membership does not afford any preferential treatment or access to services. All services at Chimo are available to everyone, equally and free of cost.
